For truck shoppers with a significant need for power behind the wheel, RAM heavy-duty trucks will perform up to expectations. The 2024 RAM 2500 is a true workhorse, and it is also packed with incredible features across the interior and exterior that elevate your time behind the wheel. The RAM 3500 is the next step in the RAM truck lineup, taking performance to the next level. Before picking out your next truck at David Stanley Dodge, what should you know about these models' differences?

Performance

The 2024 RAM 2500 is available with two powertrains. The standard system is a V8, 6.4-liter unit that generates 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. The V6, 6.7-liter turbo-diesel engine produces 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. The 2024 RAM 3500 is available with both powertrains, adding another option for shoppers to consider. Its high-output turbo-diesel engine delivers 420 horsepower and 1,075 pound-feet of torque.

Appearance

The 2024 RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks share many design similarities, but you can easily tell them apart. These trucks both have a commanding presence on the road with a tall, sculpted hood and a bold front-end design. The RAM logo is centrally displayed in a large, chrome-accented grille for both models. For the RAM 2500, the truck has a slightly smaller grille and rectangular headlights. The RAM 3500 also has rectangular headlights, which are larger and accented with chrome trim. In addition, this model is available with dual rear wheels.

Features

If you choose to drive the RAM 2500, your truck could come with power-telescoping tow mirrors, a surround-view camera, leather upholstery, a trailer reverse guidance system, a RamBox, a wireless phone charger, a Harman Kardon sound system, an integrated navigation system, adaptive cruise control, power-deploying running boards, heated seats for both rows, a power-sliding rear window, driver's memory settings, and others. The RAM 3500 builds on these features with the addition of a configurable digital instrument panel, a digital rear mirror, a blind-spot warning with trailer coverage, a wireless internet hotspot, rain-sensing wipers, and a few additional features.

At David Stanley Dodge, we will only rest once you are fully behind the wheel of a truck that meets your expectations. To learn more about the RAM 2500 and the RAM 3500, visit us soon for a test drive.
